Directors
Mandy Hobbs
Mandy graduated from the Lincoln Institute of Health Science in 1986 and worked in Melbourne primarily in private practise before relocating to Albury in 1999 and joining Healthfocus. She completed a Masters degree in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy from Charles Sturt University, Albury in 2004 and became a Director at Healthfocus in 2005. Having recently completed a PhD at Sydney University researching "Rehabilitation Directions After Lumbar Disk Replacement Surgery", her research has been published in several journals. She has a special interest in treating spinal conditions and assisting patients both pre and post surgery, along with treating dizziness and balance disorders with vestibular rehabilitation.
Louise Humphrey
Louise Humphrey graduated as a Physiotherapist with Honours from the Sydney University in 1993. She joined Healthfocus Physiotherapy in 1996 and became a director in 2005. Louise has further post graduate training in paediatrics (children), is an accredited Lymphoedema (swelling) practitioner as well as a Pilates instructer. She has a special interest in dysfunction of the hip/pelvis and lumbar spine. Louise is passionate about improving the way you move and assisting you to achieve your goals.
Michael Bowler
Michael is the newest director of Healthfocus. Michael graduated from Charles Sturt University before joining the Healthfocus team in 2004 after a previous career in Primary School teaching. Michael has a particular interests in occupational rehabilitation and manual therapy. He compled post graduate studies in manual therapy through Curtain University in WA and is currently undertaking post graduate studies in sports physiotherapy.
