A new look Lavington clinic is coming

At Healthfocus, we continue to meet the growing needs of our Albury/Wodonga families and the wider Border community. As part of this commitment, we are pleased to announce the refurbishment of our Lavington clinic.

We cannot wait to get underway and share this new space with you. The refurbishment has been designed with all life stages in mind, from early development, sports, family and our senior’s.

With the same central and convenient location, the Lavington clinic will feature modern consult rooms, allowing us to improve and broaden our services and a new, well equipped rehabilitation gymnasium. The project will be completed by local builders and trades from The Border region.

We understand how you move is important to you, your family and your lifestyle. The Lavington clinic upgrade is just another way we’re helping you live your best life.

The Lavington clinic will be closed for refurbishments:

From Monday 2 August, re-opening early in October.

During this time, all clients will be serviced at our Albury and Wodonga Place clinics.

We’ll share more information about the refurbishment, and opening details over the coming weeks.

NDIS Registration

We are proud to announce to our Healthfocus community that we have passed the rigorous NDIS commission registration process to become a registered provider of NDIS Physiotherapy services. The NDIS provides necessary funding to people with permanent and significant disability so that they may access the support and services they need to live their best life. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS services and supports (ndis.gov.au). The accreditation process, which extended over a twelve month period, evaluated all of our clinical policies and practices, patient care, and outcomes, to ensure that we were providing only the best of care to our clients.  It was a process which allowed us to reflect on our procedures, further optimize our care, and ultimately ensure that we achieve the best outcome for our NDIS eligible community. We continue to strive to assist all of our patients to achieve their goals, and love seeing them take an active role, and one they choose, within the community. Whether it is the first steps taken, optimizing posture for day to day comfort, using a new gait aid, being able to transfer independently or maintaining strength for day to day activities our team is here to assist. We adhere to the stringent NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice standards and look forward to helping more patients move through life.
